“I want to tackle fine lines before they get deeper”

…then microneedling could be the solution.

How microneedling works

At Prestige Skin we use imedpen® X Microneedling Device, a CE-marked and FDA-approved professional-grade microneedling device designed to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating its natural healing processes.

Microneedling creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve absorption of active serums, and trigger natural healing, delivering consistent and transformative results.

A targeted serum from INNO-AESTHETICS is applied to the skin just before microneedling to deliver a potent blend of active ingredients and allow for an enhanced and more targeted treatment. Dermalux LED light therapy concludes the treatment to improve outcomes and speed up recovery.

A course of 6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended, followed by a treatment every 3-6 months.

Treat your skin regularly and save

Microneedling works best as a course, particularly when treating concerns such as scarring, pigmentation, enlarged pores and changes in skin texture.

Purchase your recommended course as a treatment package and receive 10% off the usual treatment price. Your treatments are added to your Fresha profile so you can book each session at the recommended intervals, and your treatment price is protected for the duration of your package.

You can also spread the upfront cost using 0% interest-free Klarna, where available.

If your skin would benefit from combining microneedling with other treatments, a bespoke treatment package can be created following your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where on the body can microneedling be used?

Treatments can be performed on the face, body and scalp. If you are unsure please just ask.

How frequently should I have microneedling for best results?

Depending on your goals a course of 6 sessions spaced every 4-6 weeks is usually recommended. A top-up session can then be booked every 3-6 months to help maintain results.

Does microneedling hurt?

Everyone is different however most people tolerate microneedling well and don't require any pain releif. If you would like to, you can apply numbing cream 30 minutes before your treatment to minimise discomfort however for most clients this isn't necessary.

When will my skin stop looking so red?

Mild to moderate redness is completely normal after microneedling. It’s caused by increased blood flow and your skin’s natural healing response. Most clients find the redness fades within 24–48 hours, similar to a light sunburn. You can apply mineral-based SPF and a gentle, hydrating moisturiser will to support your skins recovery. Avoid makeup, hot showers, and exercise for the first 24 hours to minimise irritation and speed up healing.

Do I need to bleed for microneedling to be effective?

No, bleeding is not required for microneedling to work. Microneedling is designed to create controlled microchannels in the skin, mainly within the epidermis (the outer layer) and, when needed, reaching into the superficial dermis (just below the surface). This is enough to trigger your skin’s natural wound-healing response, which stimulates collagen and elastin production and allows active serums to penetrate more effectively.

When bleeding occurs, it simply indicates that the needles have reached the dermal blood vessels - but this level of trauma isn’t necessary for anti-ageing or skin rejuvenation results. In fact, excessive bleeding can increase irritation without improving outcomes. At Prestige Skin, I always select the correct depth based on your skin goals and treatment area, ensuring safe, effective results without unnecessary damage.

When will I see results?

Within a week skin looks smoother and brighter, with long-term improvements starting to become visible after 12 weeks as collagen remodels and structural changes take place within the skin.

Book your microneedling treatment today and discover smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.
