Luxury Dermaplaning Facial

Experience instantly smoother, brighter skin with this gentle, no-downtime exfoliation facial. Dermaplaning uses a sterile, surgical-grade blade to lift away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”), revealing a soft, radiant complexion and improving the absorption of your skincare products.
As well as the process of dermaplaning your skin, your facial includes a thorough cleanse and enzymatic exfoliation using an Instant Painless Peel to refine and refresh the skin. This is followed by the application of an Epidermal Growth Factor Skin Booster and a CLINICCARE Gel Mask to deeply hydrate and calm. A nourishing Lip & Eye Cream, moisturiser, and SPF complete the treatment, leaving your skin glowing, silky-smooth, and perfectly prepped for makeup.

Carboxytherapy Facial

This facial tightens skin tissue, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen production, increases cell regeneration and improves the appearance of the skin.
It works by infusing carbon dioxide (CO2) into the skin to encourage an increased flow of oxygen. Our body responds by increasing blood flow and growth factors, which in turn improves circulation, resulting in cell restoration, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and collagen stimulation. This is ideal for clients over the age of 25 as by the age of 30, oxygen levels in our skin drop by 25% and about 50% by the age of 40, making skin more prone to the signs of ageing.
Please note this treatment isn't suitable for you if you have very sensitive skin prone to flushing or rosacea.
For best results a course of 6 sessions is recommended with treatments spaced every 7-10 days.
The Acne Rescue Facial

This is more than a facial, this is a result-driven treatment designed to transform congested, breakout-prone skin. Your treatment begins with a microsonic-assisted deep cleanse to remove debris and excess oil without stripping the skin. A targeted exfoliation smoothes and clears clogged pores before gentle ultrasonic extractions remove congestion.
Dr Platon Cold Plasma technology then works to calm inflammation, balance sebum production and support skin healing.
A soothing gel mask with icy globes hydrates and calms while improving skin clarity.
The treatment is completed with 30 minutes of Blue Dermalux LED light therapy to reduce redness, target acne-causing bacteria, and boost skin recovery, leaving skin clearer, calmer, and more balanced.
The Rosacea Relief Facial

This calming, restorative treatment is designed specifically for sensitive, reactive, and rosacea-prone skin. It works to reduce redness, strengthen the skin barrier, and restore comfort while minimising inflammation.
Your treatment begins with gentle cleansing and soothing techniques to calm the skin before the Dr Platon Cold Plasma device is applied to reduce bacteria, regulate skin flora, and ease inflammation. A ceramide-rich mask is then applied to restore moisture balance, reinforce the skin’s protective barrier, and leave your complexion feeling calm, hydrated, and healthy.
This is followed by 30 minutes of Dermalux LED Phototherapy, using clinically proven wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to strengthen the skin, reduce redness, and promote healing.
The result is skin that looks less flushed, feels more comfortable, and becomes noticeably stronger over time.

How often should I have a facial?
Every 4–6 weeks is ideal to maintain skin health and balance. For targeted concerns like acne or rosacea, a weekly treatment for 6-12 weeks will provide the most impact.
Will my skin be red afterwards?
You may experience mild flushing immediately after treatment, but this usually subsides within a few hours.

Getting to your appointment
Your appointment will take place at the Prestige Skin clinic located within The Botanical Nest, Dry Drayton Industries, 7 miles west of Cambridge. The clinic is conveniently located just off the A428 and has ample free parking outside. If travelling by bus from Cambridge take the number 4 bus to Hardwick and the clinic is a short walk from the Scotland Road bus stop.
