Skin Lesion Removal in Cambridge
Whether it’s a skin tag that catches on jewellery, a thread vein that draws unwanted attention, or a mole you’d prefer gone, skin lesions can affect your comfort and confidence.
You may feel:
- Self-conscious about your appearance in photos or social situations
- Irritated by clothing or accessories catching on raised lesions
- Frustrated after trying at-home remedies that didn’t work or left marks
Advanced electrolysis offers a quick, targeted solution that’s suitable for a wide range of benign skin concerns.
Advanced electrolysis uses a tiny, sterile probe to deliver a small electrical current directly into the lesion. This cauterises or dries the targeted tissue, allowing it to be naturally shed by the body during the healing process.
Fast – Most blemishes are removed in minutes
Precise – Targets only the lesion, protecting surrounding skin
Versatile – Can treat multiple skin concerns in one session
Effective – Suitable for many lesions that can’t be treated with skincare alone
Skin Tags – Small, soft growths often found on the neck, underarms, or eyelids
Thread Veins & Spider Veins – Small visible blood vessels, usually on the face or legs
Blood Spots / Cherry Angioma – Bright red, harmless skin growths
Milia – Small white cysts often found under the eyes or on cheeks
Warts & Verrucas – Viral growths on hands, feet, or other areas
Sebaceous Hyperplasia & Xanthelasma – Overactive oil glands or cholesterol deposits around the eyes
Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra – Small, dark raised spots on the skin
Raised Sunspots – Benign lesions caused by sun exposure
Moles – Only treated with written confirmation from a GP or Consultant Dermatologist that the mole is safe to remove (we can arrange private assessment via Map My Mole service)

1. Free Consultation
We’ll assess the lesion, confirm suitability, and plan your treatment. If mole removal is requested, we’ll arrange a dermatologist assessment if needed.
2. Treatment
Using a fine probe, a small electrical current is applied directly to the lesion. This may feel like a brief, hot, stinging sensation.
3. Healing
The treated area may appear red or raised and a small crust may form. Allow it to heal naturally over 7–14 days for best results.
Ready to get started?
Most clients describe a quick, sharp heat or stinging sensation, which lasts only seconds per lesion.
Usually 7–14 days. A light crust or scab will form and should be left to heal naturally.
If completely treated, most lesions will not return. However, new lesions may develop in the future.
Yes, but only with written confirmation from a GP or Consultant Dermatologist that it is safe to do so. We can arrange this for you.
